A Stady on the affected factors of the return of peristalsis of the patient who have laparotony



Abstract
The purpose of this study is to contribute the nursing care planning for return of peristalsis of the patients resceived laparotomy.
The data was collected through the prepared questionaire and patient¢¥s charts of 92 pat
ients who required laparotomy, and admitted at the general surgical wards in S.N.U. during the period from 15th, Feb. to 15th, May in 1982. The results are as follows:
1. Mean of gas passing hour of the patients who received operation on accessory organ without intestinal anastomosis is 63.81 hours and that of thope who received operation
on anastomosis of small or large intestine is 94. 98 hours. difference between two groups is significant statistically (p<0. 01).
2. Mean of gas passing hour of the patients who have during of operation hour within 178
minites is 71.23 hours and that of those who have during of operation over 178 minites is 100.12hours Between two groups is significant statistically (p<0.01).
3. Mean of gas passing hour revealed no significant difference with the times of analgesics administration postlapasotomy.
4. Mean of gas passing hour revealed no significant difference with preoperative anxiety score.
